Have you ever savored a series of spatial experiences as if you enjoy tasing course meals in fine dining?

This is the place that makes it happen.
In our worldbuilding called “The Headquarters of Resources”, people can enjoy exploring and trying ready-to-experience resources all over the facility.

Tasteful space and experiences

We looked at the similarities between architecture and food, and designed a series of “tasteful space and experiences” through a lens of course meal concepts. The inspiration for the headquarters was these course meals which focus on transformable food features such as popcorn which expands in the microwave and empanadas which become hard in the baking process.

By utilizing the concept created in our homunculi*, we designed course spaces consisting of 5 different playscapes or buildings with
multiple options that visitors can choose from.

* In this studio, “Homunculi” means full-scale architectures, albeit small in size. They are not models nor prototypes – they work at their native size and tectonic material reality.)

Antipasti

The journey starts from darkness to sharpen your senses. This place works as a portal of transporting them to a different world from the outside of the site with the smell and sound of dripping tar.

Primi

It’s a fountain of overflowing cooked rice that is harvested locally and cooked with burning tar. Taste the bounty of the earth before it gets cold!

Secondi

After becoming full with Primi, let’s have a little exercise in a pool of packaged purified air which has a popping texture. You can also suck the mousse
of air bubbles encased in a braised membrane.

Dolce & Cafe

At last, you travel around the park on a soufflé made of moss, floating in the stream and through the embossed hill. They head towards the exit, while
reflecting on the day’s memories here.
